Q: DOES MY KID NEED TO WEAR JB’S UNIFORM?
We expect all players to wear their JB uniforms for practices as well as tournaments. Wearing the uniform is mandatory. Q: WHY DIDN’T I GET THE JERSEY NUMBER I REQUESTED?
During the registration process you’ll be asked to choose 4 possible numbers for the uniform jersey. Because of tournaments we cannot have repeated numbers in the Academy, so unfortunately, since we have close to 200 players, we can't guarantee that your picks will be available. Most likely Joga Bonito will be the one assigning a number to your kid’s jersey.
Q: WHEN REGISTERING, DO I NEED TO COMMIT TO THE WHOLE SEASON?
Joga Bonito futsal program is a year-round program, meaning that we are always open (except National holidays). Our 2023-2024 season starts on Sept 1st 2023 and ends on August 31st 2024.
Memberships are charged on the 28th of the month. You may cancel or freeze your membership at any point by sending an email to contact@jbfutsalacademy.com by the 15th of the month. The minimum period needed for freezing is 1 month.
Q: DO I NEED TO PAY THE ENROLLMENT FEE IF MY DAUGHTER WILL ONLY BE TRAINING FOR 3 MONTHS?
The enrollment fee is a one time per season fee that is due by the 1st day of practice. All players must pay it regardless of how long they will be training with Joga Bonito.
New Players:
✔ $125 fee - when joining the academy at the beginning of the season (between September and April).
*or*
✔ $75 Discounted fee - when joining the academy at the end of the season (between May and August).
Returning Players, Siblings and First Responders:
✔ $75 fee - the same discounted fee all season long: September 2023/ August 2024
Q: CAN MY KID GO TO A MAKE UP CLASS?
Make up classes are only allowed when there has been a practice cancellation by Joga Bonito. Canceled practices due to Holidays and Act of God events (such as: natural disasters, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and storms) do not qualify for a make up.
Q: MY CHILD DIDN'T GO TO CLASS LAST WEEK AND THE WEEK BEFORE, WILL HE/SHE BE ABLE TO MAKE UP ANY SESSIONS HE/SHE MISSED?
No. As per our Cancellation Policy make up classes are only allowed when there has been a cancellation by Joga Bonito. No credits will be issued nor make up classes allowed for missed practices due to conflicting personal schedules.
Q: CAN MY SON ATTEND A PRACTICE AT DIFFERENT LOCATION OR ON A DIFFERENT DAY THAT HE IS REGISTERED TO?
No. Players cannot change where and when they attend class. They must practice at the location and with the group they have signed up for as we have limited spots in all groups.
In case a player must change their practice group for any reason, they must first communicate with their Coach, so that the Coach can recommend another group/day/location that best fits the player.
Q: CAN I PAY PER CLASS?
No. We don't offer single classes, as our philosophy is based on the commitment of players to a weekly schedule of training.
Registered players may add an extra session if they wish to and if there’s room available with the desired group. The extra session must be scheduled by contacting Fabiana via WhatsApp message (+1 305. 354.0898) and paid ahead of time via Venmo (@JogaBonito). The cost is $20.
